About Annie's Bill

Mom Life

Annie's bill is named after my daughter, Annie. She is just shy of being 8 months old...and any parent out there knows how fast time goes. It really does!

I always knew in my heart that I would and will do everything to protect her but I felt I had already fallen short. I know my experience has shaped the way I will parent as she gets older. I know the signs of grooming, I know what to look for, I know how dangerous child predators are...lurking shadows of community, grooming a community, all the coverups,  the abuse backlash and the silencing of it all. But I haven't done anything about it...until now.

I am a mom now and I am stepping up to further protect my own daughter and your children. This bill is personal to me, it's important and its necessary.

They say it takes a village and it does. It takes a village to protect and cover-up abuse. It takes a village to breakthrough the corruption and do the right thing.

The right thing isn't protecting a convicting child molester saying 'They just made a mistake' or ' I knew him. He would never do that.'

They abused a child and they will do it again.

The right thing isn't believing these narcissistic, manipulative, cunning and charming abusers who have criminally done wrong to kids and welcome them back in to a community.

The right thing is to legally stop them and hold people accountable who open the door for them to re-offend.
